Cellophane treatment

 I tried the cellophane treatment at Dylux Salon. I arrived there about 12 o'clock in the afternoon. I asked ate Lody how much for my hair? My hair length is above my waist and I just had Japanese Straightening last month at the different salon. She said ,"$50.00 for your hair". If I'm not mistaken she uses Sebastian or Redken brand for cellophane treatment. I heard those brand were  expensive and most professionals used it for cellophane treatment. She shampooed my hair, then blow dry it a little bit. She asked me to choose what color I like for my hair. I chose bronze brown color. Then she applied the solution. She made sure that she'd applied in every strand of my hair. She used brash applicator. She wrapped plastic all over my head .Then I sat under the  heater. I waited for 30-45 minutes. Then she took off the plastic wrap in my hair. So hair can breath again , she said let's wait for a a couple minutes to cool down my hair. And then she rinsed it and applied vitamins .Before she blow dry my hair she spray different cosmetics to makes hair manageable and health. She applied hair protector, fast blow dry and lastly a little amount of oil, I forgot the name of the oil. But she said it was good for any type of hair. I like the finish product. My hair is smooth, silky, shinny , straight and really beautiful, especially when I'm under the sun. The color was visible and glowing. 

She did the treatment for 1 to 1.5 hours. I love the result , I'll definitely come back again next time. They also do hair cut, hair straitening (keratin treatment), hot oil, etc.

Love Letter - Korean Restaurant

  I heard  about Love letter from my classmate about 2 years ago. It's still a strange Korean restaurant for me, its because I haven't tried it yet. However, Last New years eve, My brother and I went out to buy foods for the last minute for new years eve. The reasons: Firstly, we just got out from work , so yeah most of the store and restaurant are already closed;Secondly: we want to add more foods on the table and Lastly we're craving for crispy chicken with a tasty gravy.We supposed to buy crispy chicken at Church's chicken but unfortunately they closed early that time >_< . We're so disappointed. We're on our way to buy pizza instead. But I saw Love Letter Restaurant on the way. I was like , "Arman lets try Love letter, I believed they have good foods over there. And we came inside and we bought Original crispy chicken and Garlic Chicken half and half for to go,  it cost almost $21.00 not bad  tho!, Its good for 4-5 people.

 It was my first time trying out this location, last time was just for to go. But this time we really ate inside. My bf and I tried the Thursday combo special with Bulgogi pizza,  sweet garlic chicken and 2Liter Coke for only $18.00. It was a good deal, foods were fresh and tasty. Their food is good!, I'm a chicken and pizza lover, This place is amazing for a late night pizza and chicken wings craving. I don't drink , but for those who love's to drink, they have beer tower over there. After 30 mins, our food arrived, it was worth the wait , good quality service too. Too much sweet sauce on the chicken but I love the taste, I like the texture of the pizza it's not same as  pizza hut or Domino's ,  The toppings were underneath the marinara sauce and cheese. Von noticed letters posted on the wall from the customers. So cute and romantic, customer's can leave notes,pictures or letters on the wall. Reminded me of  a restaurant in a Korean Drama.

Nice place, I'll rate the ambiance 4 out of 5. oh! another thing I love their fresh salad, I don't know what dressing they put on it. It's tastier than thousand Island dressing . Von and I enjoy this place and the food either. They have also Flat screen TV to entertain you. Maybe I'll try their sweet potato pizza next time! :)

Deep Conditioning

At dahil napabayaan ko na yung hair ko and super dry na. Deserved ko ng magpa hair treatment. Last month nagpa-Japanese hair straightening ako. I always ponytail my hair kahit basa pa. Kaya naging dry, curly and buhaghag pa. Sabi nga nila "Hair is you Crowning Glory". And sinasabi din ng bf ko na alagaan ko daw yung hair ko. Kaya I decided na din magpa straight ng hair. Tadah! maganda ang naging result. Mejo nagpapaka nega pa ako na baka mapoknat ako or tumigas yung hair ko, magmukha akong walking walis. But I'm really happy na gumada yung texture ng hair ko, smooth and shinny sya and of course straight after ng Japanese hair straightening. 

Vietnamese yung nagstraight sa hair ko. Family Cut name ng salon , located sa may Pioneer Blvd.  Lakewood.  She's nice , she even tell story while she was doing my hair. She gave me tips on how to take care my hair. The proper combing is the basic. I asked her why my hair is so elastic , especially when it's damp.  Dahil pala yun sa pagsusuklay ko. I should not forced combing my hair when it has tangles. Nagkakaron ng breakage at nagiging elastic pa yung hair. So pag daw susuklayin ko kelangan ng support ang hair, hold mo yung part ng hair tsaka suklayin yung may tangle na part para di masakit at mahirap suklayin. And of course pangit din yung palaging nagiiron or nagccurl ng hair. Magkakadamage talaga yung hair and lots of breakage. 

I tried the deep conditioning treatment. Di naman sya gano katagal. 30-45 minutes yung treatment. First she shampooed my hair , then she applied the deep conditioning treatment, Nakalimutan kong itanong yung name or brand ng ginagamit nya for the treatment. As far as I remember , she said na galing lahat sa Japan yung mga ginagamit nya. Tapos nilagay nya under heat steam yung hair ko para mas ma- absorbed pa ng hair ko yung deep conditioning cream. After 30 minutes, she rinsed my hair at meron pa syang inaapply na kung ano ano. And then blow dry nya hair ko and trimmed nya yung dulo . Sabi ko pa U shaped na lang para meron lang shaped. XDDD maganda naman result , I liked it baka next month ulit or the other month try ko naman yung Cellophane treatment, mas mahal lang ang cellophane ($55) at ang deep conditioning naman na ginawa sa hair ko kanina is $25 only.

Nakaka-relax mag pa hair treatment. I'll definitely do it again at the same place. Alagaan ko na talaga yung hair ko ngayon.

Eatong Canyon hiking Part II

It was really fun day and my Saturday off was worth it. I was with Von, Camille and Jessica almost the whole day. ^^

I mentioned on my previous blog that Von and I were going to see the beauty of Venice Beach today. But unexpectedly the plan was cancelled because Camille invited us (me & von) to go hiking at Eaton Canyon. And another thing, I planned to get a deep conditioning or cellophane treatment in the morning before we go to Venice beach and guess what? I cancelled it either because I was running out of time. I woke up at 11:30am and took a bath 11:30-12o'clock. Von said that I need to be at his house before 2:00pm. It was my first time to drive over at his place from my house. I prepared everything I needed for the hiking. Oh Snap! I haven't eaten yet. I totally skipped my breakfast and lunch. I just grabbed some of my dad's chip's ahoy , at least It will lightly satisfied my hunger and add up some energy. I left at my house around 1:15pm and arrived at Von's place around 1:30. I parked my car behind his car. I didn't know he was already inside his car waiting for me. It was kind a traffic at 5freeway , yet we arrived at Camille's house early. And then Von introduced me to his uncle (Camille's dad) .Tito Alvin was nice , perfect timing he was cooking and making some leche flan. Von and I was really starving at that moment, Tito Alvin offered some chicken bbq and rice. We ate and had some conversation while waiting for Camille to pick up Jessica.

It was 30 minutes drive from El Monte (Camille's place) to Eaton Canyon. It was  nice and warm outside , a perfect time for hiking. I'm still excited even though it was my second time hiking at Eaton Canyon , I'm excited the fact that it was first time that I was hiking with Von , Camille and Jessica. I met a new friend too , her name is Jessica which is Camille's bestfriend.

While we're inside the car at the parking lot:
  Camille: gusto mo magdala ng weights? meron ako dyan one pair ng 5 lbs

Von: Sure  \(._.)/

Me: Sure ka hon? mejo mahirap yung dadaanan natin.

Von: kayang kaya yan, ako pa? man of steal ata to!  sabay wink ;)

Me: okay! wag mo lang ipapalagay sa bag ko yan pag napagud ka ah..

kikiss pa yung biceps nya habang nagfflex lol >_<



Maraming naghihiking kasabay namin. Some of them were with their kids, boyfriend/girlfriend, friends and even dogs. Nagstart kami maglakad ng 3:00pm, mainit tapos pataas pa, nafefeel ko yung pressure sa mga legs ko. Marami ding poopoo ng dogs sa dadaanan namin. Kaya kelangan talaga tingnan ang dadaanan. nasa mejo half na kami ng trail. We stop muna sa stream and of course di mawawala ang taking picture.

Von: (habang fini-feel nya ang water) warm sya di naman sya cold.

Me: first time ng nagpunta ako dito mejo mataas pa yung water abot sa knees ko, tapos sobrang lamig ng tubig, you can feel it thru your veins.

Von: tinikman nya yung water

Me: ewww! you really tasted it?

Von: malinis naman yan ! fresh water sya.

Me: Nah! kung kani-kaninong paa kaya ang content ng water na yan. :P

At least natry nyang tikman yung fresh stream diba?

Kelangan din naming tumulay sa mga bato across the stream. Cool! feeling ko si Dora ako. XDD mej o mahaba haba pang lalakarin. Sabi ni Von,"hon iukit natin name natin sa bato. Ako naman sige sige ba pag nasa Eaton Canyon falls na tayo. And after ng 1 hour na paglalakad , Finally we're at the Falls na. Di naman sya malaki, mini falls lang sya. Nilubog namin yung paa namin sa tubig. Omg! sobrang lamig ng water parang galing sa fridge. Nagnunumb talaga yung mga paa namin and namumula. para makapagpapicture near the actual falls, kelangan tiisin ang lamig ng water  parang nag numb ang  buong legs ko sa lamig. Haha at naka boxers lang si Von. tibay!... Mejo ayaw pa itry ni Jessica , kase ayaw nya ng feeling ng tubig sa legs nya. Yung feeling na nagnunumb ang legs mo pero mafefeel mo parin na parang pati veins mo nagyeyelo na sa lamig. Madami ng tao ng dumating kami sa Fall. After we took our picture and marest for a couple minutes. We headed na pabalik. Mas okay yung pabalik kase pababa na and di na masyadong mainit. While naglalakad kami nagojojoke pa si Von na sobrang kulit. Feel na feel nya ang 5lbs each na weight nya. Pero he did it, kala ko isusuko nya yung weights and ibabaon n lang sa lupa para pede balikan. Di naman ako pinagpawisan ng grabe

 Finally!!! at Eaton Canyon Fall .nagnunumb ang feet namin sa sobrang lamig ng water, love it tho! :)

Then we went to the mall (nakalimutan ko name ng mall), Failed talaga ako kase iniwan ko yung pampalit na clothes ko sa car ni Von, so di na ako nakapagpalit. At dahil di naman kami masyadong gutom bumili na lang kami ng boba sa lollicup , meron din palang lollicup stand dun pero mas konti lang yung pagpipilian sa menu at walang foods drinks lang talaga lahat, fries na lang pinabili ko. 6pm magstart ang movie. Wala na kaming time para kumain so dinala na lang namin sa loob yung food. Bawal yung food sa loob kaya nilagay ko na lang sa bag ko , buti malaki laki yung bag ko kaya nagkasya ang 2 large fries ng mcdonalds.

Evil dead yung movie na panonorin namin. Takot si Von sa horror movies lol kaya sabi ko kung okay lang ba sya and kaya ba nya manood ng horror. Sabi nya kakayanin. Bago kami pumasok sa loob ng theater , sabi ni lady guard na ubusin muna yung drinks bago pumasok. Haha! pasaway mga kasama ko and ako na rin nagtuloy tulog na lang kase kami sa loob, dala dala namin yung boba milk tea. Sa mejo pinakataas kami pumwesto. Natatawa ako kay Von haha!, sobrang natatakot sya sa bawat eksena kaya naman nagpaka busy na lang sya sa nilalaro nyang push coin sa ipod touch nya. nagpalit pa kami ng pwesto kase wla syang katabi sa left nya natatakot sya lol. Grabe makaakap sa braso ko kulang na lang ilagay nya face nya underneath my kilikili... pinagtatawanan sya ni Camille haha ginulat pa si Von. Napamura sa takot tuloy haha. The movie was pretty good, horror and gore sya daming blood at hardcore talaga kaya super scary ,yun ang nagpapaganda sa movie . Effective ang bawat since na nakakatakot. Favorite part ko yung hinati in half ni Mia yung bloody lady. Grabe I didn't know meron palang Part1 and PartII ang Evil Dead. Gusto ko panoorin pero wala naman ako makasama sa panonood , kase naman matatakutin si Von. After ng movie kumain kami sa Guppy tea house sa may Temple City, mas malaki sya compare sa Guppy ng Cerritos, nag strawberry and mango shaved ice na lang kami and hawaiian fried rice. Yummy! matagal tagal na din ako di kumain ng shaved ice. Ang laki ng shaved ice di namin maubos pero masarap sya mejo matamis nga lang. After kumain dumiretso na kami sa house ni Camille nag Karaoke and Dance Central kami.

12:30 na kami umuwi. past 1o'clock na kami naka- arrived sa house ni Von. Kelangan ko pa nga palang magdrive from Von's place to my house.  Finally home na ako ng 1:30. Sobrang pagod , pero di ako masyadong makatulog everytime I closed my eyes nakikita ko yung face ni Mia sa movie, nakakatakot. 4am na ata ako nakatulog . Gosh! meron pa akong work ng 10:30 konti maiitulog ko >_<

Progressive day naman ang saturday ko, I had a lot of fun , I learned new things and gained new friends. I met Von's uncle pa. hayys! next time sana matuloy na kami sa Venice Beach. :)

My first blog ever!

Hindi talaga ako pala-Blog na tao. Pero meron ding mga instances na gustong gusto ko mag-blog parang Diary na rin diba?  Eto na nga ang pagkakataon. Pano ba naman hindi ako makatulog >_< Time check, gosh! 6am na and di parin ako nakakatulog. Nag-attempt naman akong matulog kanina pang 2am. Pero ikot lang naman ako ng ikot sa bed ko, So I decided na gumawa na lang ng sarili kong Blog. Tadah! eto na nga yung result nagttype na ako ng 1st sa list ng Memoirs ko haha. Nadala ata to ng puyat , kase di ako makatulog pero at least ginanahan naman akong gumawa ng blogs meron paring pakinabang ang oras ko diba?

Hopefully,  meron pang kasunod to at sana makatulog na rin ako fr the second attempt. I guess sobrang excited lang ako. Kase pupunta ako sa Venice Beach bukas with Von. It's been a while since nag punta pa ako sa Beach. Di ko na maalala talaga kelan pa yun. Hmnn.. na persuade ako ng magaling kong brother, sabi nya maganda daw dun , masaya and kakaiba. Of course nagchecked kagad kami sa google about sa Venice Beach. Nagustuhan naman namin ni Von kase maganda sya sa pictures, maraming activities at marmaing mga boutique . I'm really excited and eto na nga hindi ako makatulog. haha Pano ba yan try ko na ulit matulog . Sana paghiga ko sa Bed ko tulog na kagad. >_<
